CT Dubai’s screen on Burj Boulevard for National Day

On 2nd December the 38th National Day Celebrations took place all over Dubai and other emirates, with a variety of events taking place such as boat shows, fireworks, traditional Emirati dances as well as a parade on the downtown area of Burj Boulevard.

Creative Technology Dubai was asked by events company Done Events to provide a 10 x 7 panel Lighthouse R7 screen for the National Day parade at the Burj Boulevard. Grass Valley Turbo was used to playback video segments that coincided with the various dance routines on the passing floats.

“It is always good to be asked to take part in national day celebrations here in Dubai. It makes us feel we are contributing to our host nation,” commented Anna Cattaneo, Sales and Marketing Executive at CT Dubai.

National Day is celebrated to commemorate the independence of the emirates from colonial rule, the establishment of the new Constitution and the creation of the Union of six of the seven emirates (the seventh emirate joined later) that today form the U.A.E.
