Until recently show recording and playback was largely centred around one product, the Digi-Beta machine. Today, the development of HD formats and the massive development of disk based formats has rendered this workhorse of our industry almost redundant.
CT utilises a wide range of manufactured products such as GVG Turbo’s, DVS Pronto’s and EVS machines. Increasingly we also develop our own bespoke recording, edit and playback solutions using 3rd party drives and adapted software. This allows cost effective digital archiving and real-time highlights production for touring shows or sports events.
The “file based” structure of these systems allows seamless real-time integration with non-linear editing and/or widescreen playback and control systems.
