CT supports the Dubai World Cup and Meydan opening ceremony
The Dubai World Cup 2010 offered horse racing enthusiasts and the glitterati set alike the hospitality only the Emirati can provide. Incorporating the opening of the iconic Meydan Grandstand and Racecourse – the new home of the Dubai World Cup – an extension of the programme has meant that the meeting now stages a total of eight races, making the meeting worth a phenomenal US$26.25million.

Last tour Tee-off in Dubai
The PGA European Golf Tour’s season-ending Dubai World Championship, the culmination of The Race to Dubai, saw 60 players tee off for the finale. Held at Jumeirah Golf Estates’ newly opened Earth course, and with the grand prize of US$7.5 million to be divided amongst 15 winners at stake, the final came to an exciting conclusion with Lee Westwood winning the championship.
2004 Olympics, Athens

Pavarotti Tribute Concert
A host of artists including Sting, Jose Carreras, Placido Domingo and Andrea Bocelli came out to commemorate the late tenor Luciano Pavarotti. The three day celebration in Petra marked the anniversary of Pavarotti's death in September 2007 and also coincided with what would have been his 73rd birthday.
