Organised by the Museum of Islamic Art in conjunction with Qatar Museum Authority and New York’s Tribeca Film Festival, from Thursday 29th October to Sunday 1st November the capital of Qatar hosted the first edition of the DohaTribeca Film Festival.

A host of celebrities descended on the capital for the historic 2009 Formula 1™ Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix over the last weekend of October. The day-night race, the first ever held at the brand new 5.6 km Yas Marina circuit was televised all over the world.

For Creative Technology Emirates, 2009 began at a sprint promising their busiest year yet.

Hailed as the best current touring performance, Take That’s The Circus Live – Summer 2009 tour has exceeded everyone’s expectations – even the band has commented that “this is the biggest tour we’ve ever done, it’s the most exciting Take That tour yet!”
